What We Do

Advisory

Art Elsewhere Advisory is a London-based arts and culture consultancy founded in 2017 by Senem Cagla Bilgin-Keys.

Specialising in contemporary art from Europe and West Asia, we are dedicated to promoting and representing emerging and mid-career artists. We offer bespoke advisory, curating, and art management services tailored to the needs of galleries, artists and collectors. Our mission is to foster creativity, build meaningful connections, produce curatorial projects, and bring fresh perspectives to the creative industry.

Senem Cagla Bilgin-Keys is an independent curator, arts advisor, and founder of Art Elsewhere. Her curatorial practice focuses on environmental and social issues, including ecology, migration, and identity. Drawing on her academic background in Art History and Curating, she brings a research-driven and conceptually rigorous approach to both exhibition projects and strategic advisory for galleries, collectors, and artists across Europe and West Asia.

Her curatorial work spans solo and group exhibitions, including Pei-yi Tsai’s [Insert] at SLQS Gallery, Amelia Bowles’ site-responsive installation Komorebi at Sunny Bank Mills Museum & Archive, and the group exhibitions ‘Unity’ in collaboration with Arebyte Gallery and Trinity Buoy Wharf, 'When Is Now?' and 'What Will Not Bend, Will Break' at Vision London. Since 2013, she has worked alongside leading galleries and collectors including Tate Patrons, Lehmann Maupin (London) and Podbielski Contemporary (Milan).

She is particularly committed to creating opportunities for emerging and independent artists, cultivating sustainable, long-term relationships that support their artistic development, including through an arts patronage program she recently developed.

A regular contributor to art publications and participant in international fairs such as London Art Fair 2026 with her platform Art Elsewhere, she works at the intersection of artistic practice and research, fostering dialogues that are artist-centered, generate curatorial projects, and bring fresh perspectives to the creative industry..

Curating

Art Elsewhere’s exhibitions focused on environmental and social issues such as ecological crises, migration and identity.

We are interested to work on collective or individual projects for cultural institutions and creatives such as museums, art fairs, galleries, collectors and selected artists.

We provide exhibitions, art fairs, events, studio visits, publications, exchange exhibition programmes in various galleries, and support emerging artists through a programme of projects in temporary spaces and international art fairs.

Open Laboratory of Elsewhere

Open Laboratory of Elsewhere (OLE), is an independent collective pedagogical laboratory locates on temporary places in London and Turkey. To engage the existing capacity of knowledge between professionals and academic users and turn itself into a collective learning centre, within yearly programs and variable durations.

A purpose is to be a space where for a group of four postgraduate level art students, and academicians who lecture at different fine art universities, to work, produce and learn together.

OLE started with an urgent need to rethink alternative education models for art students who come from lower financial groups and diverse communities.

The programme of Open Laboratory of Elsewhere will be announced every year in January.

*Please note that the program of Art Elsewhere Advisory, including the artists AE works with and the projects it is involved in, is entirely independent from the Art Elsewhere art initiative that concluded in 2021.  For more details, please visit Advisory page.
