Art Elsewhere is a London-based curatorial platform and advisory founded by Senem Cagla Bilgin-Keys in 2017. Through exhibitions, artist residencies, art fair presentations and independent projects, Art Elsewhere works closely with artists through sustained dialogue, research and collaboration.

Its programme is grounded in social and ecological discourses with a particular interest in practices engaging with migration, identity and cultural memory. Working across disciplines and geographies, Art Elsewhere places artistic practices in dialogue with wider cultural contexts, creating space for critical exchange.

Alongside its curatorial programme, Art Elsewhere encourages art patronage by providing strategic advisory to collectors and galleries, supporting informed collection development, championing emerging artists and presenting exhibitions and projects with cultural institutions and other arts organisations.

About the Founder & Director

Senem Cagla Bilgin-Keys is an independent curator, writer and advisor. Her curatorial practice focuses on environmental and social issues, including ecology, migration and identity. Drawing on her academic background in art history and curating, she brings a research-driven, critical approach to exhibition projects and strategic advisory for galleries, collectors and artists across Europe and West Asia.

Her work spans solo and group exhibitions, writing for museum catalogues, editorial work for art publications, artist residency mentorship and curation. Since 2013, she has worked with leading galleries and institutions, including Tate Patrons, Lehmann Maupin (London) and Podbielski Contemporary (Milan).

She is particularly committed to creating opportunities for emerging and independent artists, fostering sustainable, long-term relationships and supporting their professional and artistic development.
